Active participation in the project.
Adhering to the general guidance of the Vision Volunteers administration team, the Project Manager, Country coordinator and with the support of the staff members, volunteer will complete the duties stated as follows:
1. Support the implementation of the project goals and the objectives. Where required, innovate sustainable ideas and generate proposals to effectively deliver the fulfillment of the project.
Active participation in the project.
Participation in improving the project’s structure for the future projects.
2. Regularly updating project coordinator on the progress of the project, using the provided template:
Creating weekly summary reports for each project the volunteer is participating.
Evaluate and appraise
3. Improve the team work of the team members and the participants, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Inclusiveness and respect for diversity
Harmony and peace
Furthermore, Vision Volunteers are encouraged to:
Strengthen volunteer’s knowledge and understanding of the concept of volunteerism by interacting with each other.
Using previous personal experiences, if the volunteers have, to better execute the project.
Be acquainted with and build on traditional and/or local forms of volunteerism in the host country;
Reflect on the type and quality of voluntary action that they are undertaking, including participation in ongoing reflection activities;
Contribute articles/write-ups/blogging/vlogging on field experiences and maintaining a volunteer diary to monitor the personal development in the course of the placement.
